The "Dancing Lady" orchid
is native to Central and South America. This group includes intergeneric
hybrids (crossed with Odontoglossum, Miltonia, etc.) such as Colmanara,
Wilsonara, etc. This orchid
produces a long showy spray of colorful flowers, which occur only
on the newest growths. Oncidium-type flowers last 4-6 weeks.
